Royal Caribbean to revamp
Explorer of the Seas in 2020 Royal Caribbean International will add water slides, poolside bars and signature restaurants to Explorer of the Seas next year, as part of its $1 billion ‘Royal Amplified’ modernisation programme. The ship’s entertainment and activities programme will also be overhauled. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean Cruises has added 1,400 sustainable tours across its brands.

Amadeus River Cruises unveils
nine-day itinerary in Germany Amadeus River Cruises has unveiled a nine-day itinerary on the Rhine and Danube in Germany for 2020. The German Riverscapes from Passau to Trier sailing will depart on August 13 and will call at Regensburg, Nuremberg, Koblenz and Ochsenfurt. Prices start at £1,199 including flights. A 15% discount is available on bookings made by November 30.

Carnival Cruise Line to debut
two shows on board Panorama Carnival Cruise Line will debut two productions on Carnival Panorama when it launches in December. Modernised concert-style show Rock Revolution and Broadway Beats, which follows a band in New York City, will be performed only on the 4,008-passenger ship. Celestial Strings and Soulbound will also be performed on the vessel.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line adds sailings to Nassau
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will add sailings to Nassau next month. Te move comes as the
two-ship line resumes commercial operations in the Bahamas aſter hurricane Dorian batered the archipelago. Te line offers two-night round-
trip sailings from Palm Beach, Florida, to Grand Bahama Island. Francis Riley, senior vice-
president for sales and marketing, said: “Our travel agents have been asking for a second destination for quite some time, and Nassau has frequently come up in our discussions.” Te two-night trips from Palm
Beach to Nassau will begin on October 12 on Grand Classica. Cruise-only prices start at
$159 per person for round-trip
Nassau sailings. Departures are now available to book. Te cruise line is offering
passengers the chance to help with the rebuilding effort on Grand Bahama island. Agents can earn 10%
commission on excursions, which must be booked in advance with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
