Jet2 puts winter NY trips from six airports on sale

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have put on sale 28 New York trips from six UK airports for winter 2018-19.


Flights are from Manchester, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Newcastle and Belfast, and include dates around October half-term, Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The programme includes more


than 6,500 holidays across three to five-star hotels such as Westin New York Grand Central, Hotel


Carlisle airport to gain links to Belfast, Dublin and London


Carlisle Lake District airport is to gain flights to Belfast, Dublin and possibly London from June 3. They will be the Cumbrian airport’s first commercial flights for 25 years. Fares and service details have yet to be announced. The airport is owned by the


Stobart Group and the flights will be operated by its regional carrier, Stobart Air.


The London route has yet to


be confirmed but is likely to be to Southend airport, which is also owned by Stobart Group. Stobart Group head of corporate
