Openings Colonnade


Contract caterer Graysons has partnered with Bristol Beacon concert hall to open the Colonnade restaurant. The contemporary restaurant is located under the Bristol Byzantine arches of the Grade II-listed building and offers a seasonal all-day menu showcasing locally sourced ingredients. Executive chef Joshua Bebbington, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, will be leading Colonnade. The classically trained chef has worked for a number of restaurants, including the River Cottage in Axminster, Devon, and L’Escargot in London’s Soho. A selection of local spirits, beers,


ciders, perries, cocktails, in-house shrubs and ferments will be available alongside the standard wine list. Colonnade will be joined by two new bars


at Bristol Beacon, including the Weston Stage, which has a vaulted cellar, and Simon’s Bar on the mezzanine above the restaurant.

Pan-Asian restaurant Yiqi has opened in London’s Chinatown under chef Lum Wah Cheok, who has previously worked at Hakkasan and Yauatcha. The 2,000 sq ft diner serves dishes from countries including China, Korea and Japan.
