New Windstar yacht Star Seeker sets sail after christening in Miami


Windstar Cruises held a christening ceremony in Miami for its newest all-suite yacht, Star Seeker, on January 15. Libby Anschutz, the daughter of the line’s owner Phil Anschutz, acted as godmother


at the event by giving a speech and formally naming the 224-passenger vessel as she smashed a champagne bottle against the hull. Christopher Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises, and captain Tom Schofield – who will serve on board the first new-build vessel in the line’s Star Class – also gave speeches. Star Seeker’s sister ship, Star Explorer, is set to debut in December, with its christening due to follow in London in June 2027.

Caribtours adds Sri Lanka to 2026 brochure collection
