JOIN GRECOTEL IN CRETE FOR A CHARITY HIKE


Two-day challenge will see eight agents scale the Greek island’s tallest mountain in aid of Breast Cancer Now


A


re you an agent with a passion for adventure and a heart for making a difference? Grecotel Hotels & Resorts invites you to take part in a spectacular charity hike through the sun-drenched landscapes of Crete – an unforgettable journey that blends the beauty of travel with the power of purpose. The challenging two-day trek will raise awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Now, standing in solidarity with the many women in the travel industry whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

Konstantinos Savathrakis, owner of outdoor activity specialist Creative Adventures, which offers exclusive and tailor-made excursions across the island. The hike will also be attended by Kostas Sinis, Grecotel’s director of UK and luxury, and by a member of the Aspire team. For the duration of the three-day trip, participants will stay at Grecotel Creta Palace in Rethymno, famed for its distinct bungalow villages, mature gardens and sparkling views of the Creta Sea. Flights will be included.


Plucky participants will scale the island’s tallest mountain, Mount Psiloritis – where an elevation of nearly 2,500 metres offers unrivalled views of the island’s unspoiled beaches and rugged natural beauty – and traverse the narrow Samaria Gorge, the second-longest gorge in Europe. The trip to Crete will take place on September 28-30 and will be led by


“Breast cancer touches far too many lives – including the incredible women that are the backbone of the UK travel industry,” Grecotel said. “Through this initiative, we’re hoping to raise at least £5,000 for this worthy cause – as well as all-important awareness – while showcasing a different side of beautiful Crete.”


Agents will be responsible for their own fundraising.
