CV Villas showcases sustainable initiatives in new property collection

CV Villas has unveiled a portfolio of properties that promote sustainable tourism. The Positive Impact Collection – labelled a “pioneering initiative” – aims to

encourage responsible travel by providing guests with information on sustainable alternatives and low-impact transport options. Every property has been assessed to ensure it meets high standards in four areas:

supporting local communities by encouraging community development; conservation of local customs, culture and biodiversity; energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction initiatives; and promoting eco-conscious transportation. The initiative is supported by the operator’s partnership with sustainable transport platform Byway, which provides flight-free itineraries to Europe using buses, trains and ferries. The collection includes Dimora Dieci Coni in Puglia, Italy, where meals are made

using produce from an on-site organic vegetable garden; and Villa Gaea in Elounda, Crete, which contributes to local charities and ecosystem restoration initiatives. Managing director Pete Brudenell said: “With this collection, we aim to showcase sustainable initiatives at our villas, as well as offering less impactful ways to travel.” cvvillas.com
