Meff ert AG has been participating in the co-operation project of the districts of Mainz-Bingen, Mayen-Koblenz, and Bad Kreuznach, as well as the city of Koblenz, since 2012. In addition, Meff ert is investing in electromobility and charging station infrastructure: “A total of 26 charging stations are available for our company’s 45 electric vehicles, powered by our own PV electricity,” said Dieter Meff ert.

The Tyrolean family business ADLER Lacke invited long-serving former employees to their traditional pensioners’ coff ee at their plant in Schwaz. They were treated to a tour of the newly completed building on the site, with Head of Corporate Communications Claudia M. Berghofer and senior manager Günther Berghofer. The retirees visited the order processing offi ce on the top fl oor and the spacious pre-picking hall. Among them was “ADLER legend” Bertl Fink, long-time head of the shipping department, who was particularly impressed. “When I started in 1964, we still had to do everything painstakingly by hand. It’s incredible how ADLER has developed since then and made work easier for its employees with modern technology.” Resi Kirchmair, the “voice of ADLER” who manned the

switchboard for over 40 years, added: “I often think back to those wonderful years.”
