Lamett is now taking an important step towards sustainability by switching to inland waterway transport for the delivery of import containers from the port of Antwerp to Zwevegem. After several successful test shipments, the company has decided to implement this approach on a structural basis, which has led to impressive environmental gains. The test project has already seen an 85 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions and has saved 70,000 truck kilometres on the Antwerp-Zwevegem route.

LICO’s natural fl ooring, Fibrano, has been honoured by the Spanish Wood Flooring Association as the Best Product. The company hailed it a “fantastic achievement for our LICO Ibérica team, who represent Fibrano with great dedication and passion”. Fibrano won two awards at the 2025 Green Step Awards: “Pinnacle” and “Product.” at a ceremony in Dalton, Georgia.
