Investigate drawing parallel and perpendicular lines using a ruler and a set square.
Look around the classroom and write down 6 examples of each type of line. Try to fi nd unusual ones that others may not see, such as under your chair.
How would you check to see if the lines of your table or the whiteboard were level? Think of a few different things you could use to do this.
