Mrs O’Brien needed to go to the shops to pick up some groceries for dinner, but her twin babies were still having their nap so she decided to ask the Spanish student who was staying with them to go for her. Unfortunately, Carlos could not read English and Mrs O’Brien did not know what the groceries were called in Spanish, so this is the list she gave him.
Could this list cause some confusion? Is there another, quicker way she could have written the list? What do you think they are going to have for dinner?
