DRC, the Newbury-based telecoms solutions provider, has announced two key hires at board level, with Roger Flynn joining the business as chair and Sue Elliott as managing director. Flynn has a long history in transforming growth businesses across the media and telecoms industry, as an executive, board member and investor. Elliott joins the business following eight years on the senior leadership team at Windsor Telecom, including as managing director and chief operating officer.

Vail Williams has appointed senior surveyor Holly Vos. Vos, a chartered building surveyor, joins Vail Williams from independent London practice Palmer Glew, and brings with her in-depth experience in building consultancy services. In her new role Vos will provide a range of building surveying and project management services to clients including investors, landlords and occupiers of commercial property.

Vicky Dudding co- leads Osborne Clarke’s corporate structuring and simplification team and has

particular expertise in complex corporate reorganisations, restructures and demergers. The firm, which has its Thames Valley office in Reading’s Forbury Road, has appointed a total of seven new partners and three legal directors across its three UK offices in London, Bristol and Reading.

Expanding law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP has appointed two new lawyers. Kelly Miller and Elisha Jones who have both joined Blanchards Bailey from Humphries Kirk’s Wareham office and have bolstered Blanchards Bailey’s award-winning private client department. Miller, who qualified as a solicitor in 2009, specialises in all areas of private client work, advising on administration of estates, wills, declarations of trusts, tax planning and lasting powers of attorney. Legal assistant Jones, a graduate member of Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, who also has a law degree, will work closely with the firm’s head of private client Jerome Dodge.

Snows has appointed Paul Rabbetts as sales manager for its Mazda Chichester dealership. Rabbetts started his career in 2001 as a trainee with Cambridge Garage Volvo and was headhunted a year later by White Rose Volkswagen in Petersfield. By 2011 he was general sales manager, running split sites for both its new and used vehicles.

Landmark Information, the UK’s leading provider of data to the property market, has announced the appointment of acclaimed environmental adviser and lawyer Professor Robert Lee, as an ESG special adviser. He joins Landmark’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team of experts, where he will share his extensive knowledge and provide strategic counsel towards the ongoing evolution of Landmark’s ESG products, training and webinars.

SEGRO, the leading owner, manager and developer of warehouse and industrial space, has bolstered its property team with the appointment of Jo Jackson as director, Thames Valley. She will be responsible for the asset, leasing and property management teams that look after SEGRO’s Thames Valley portfolio.

Saffery partner Roger Wareham has been appointed as the new head of office at Saffery Champness Accountants in Bournemouth, taking over from senior partner Wareham commented: “I am very proud to succeed Nick as head of office.”Nick Fernyhough, who previously held the role for five years.
