technology Superior build quality Intel® Evo™ platform-based laptops

The Razer Book has been co-engineered with Intel to be the next step in laptop evolution. Designed with three distinct design philosophies in mind Evo platform-based laptops meet three critical workspace demands, giving users with the highest quality experience at the fastest speeds to date.

• Ready whenever you are: Laptops that qualify to be part of the Evo catalogue are tuned for improved responsiveness. With an Instant Wake feature bringing the Razer Book back online as soon as the screen is lifted ensures there is no time wasted when going from sleep to wake modes. The 16:10 displays also provide visual clarity that allows for maximum focus during strenuous productivity tasks.

• Accelerate your creativity: The new 11th Gen Intel Core i7 Processors are built with Intel Iris Xe onboard graphics to allow for immersive experiences without sacrificing battery life. Along with the enhanced processing and graphics capabilities, the Razer Book features Thunderbolt 4™ connectivity to reduce file transfer times.

• Make strong connections: Evo platform-based laptops all include new Wi-Fi 6(Gig+), giving nearly 3x faster Wi-Fi speeds to further optimizing the work experience. The Razer Book also boasts high-fidelity audio components to refine the interactions online through various communication tools such as Teams or Zoom.

Storage, memory and cooling

The Razer Book is supplied with up to 512GB of PCIe solid-state storage and either 8GB or 16GB of fast dual-channel memory, allowing for quicker boots and application launches. Owners are also able to upgrade the SSD up to 2TB. The M.2 slot can use either a SATA or NVMe PCIe SSD.

Using Razer’s patented vapor chamber cooling system in the Razer Book allows users to get the most out of the CPU while still maintaining a compact system height.

Power modes

Users can adjust the performance settings and fan speeds using Razer’s proprietary software suite, Razer Synapse 3. This gives users the option to switch between Balanced mode, optimal for most tasks, Battery Saver Mode, for when power conservation is a priority, and Performance mode, for when the full power of the system needs to be unleashed.

The build quality of the Razer Book sets it apart from inferior plastic or stamped metal Ultrabooks. The unibody frame of the Razer Book is fortified using precision CNC-machining of the high-grade aluminium. Its matte mercury colour is electro chemically anodized deeper into the aluminium at a sub-molecular level for maximum durability. This solid construction gives the laptop its remarkably strong exterior that prevents unnecessary flex.

Updated keyboard Razer Chroma™ keyboard

Through Razer Synapse 3, the Razer Book has access to 16.8 million colour options powered by Razer Chroma. This per key lighting system offers infinite customisation options and more uniform backlighting, even on the secondary function keys. The anti-ghosting keyboard has been optimized to feel punchier and more responsive with a 63g click force switch. The new keyboard features an extended shift key, and half height arrow keys to provide a more balanced layout and typing experience.

THX® Spatial Audio

The Razer Book is equipped with THX Spatial Audio, a flexible positional audio solution that delivers pinpoint audio accuracy to provide the listener with a heightened, realistic, and immersive entertainment experience through the built-in speakers and attached 3.5mm headphones.

THX Spatial Audio faithfully renders all available channels from stereo and multi-channel audio sources to deliver a true surround sound experience, while also delivering maximal acoustic performance, custom-tuned to the Razer Book’s unique hardware architecture. A suite of customisation options provides users a truly personal edge, including EQ profiles, bass boost and vocal clarity, and specially designed content modes and genre settings.

Connectivity

Connectivity includes 2x Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C™), 1x 3.2 USB-A, full sized HDMI 2.0, microSD slot, HD Webcam, and a 3.5mm audio combo port. For an ultraportable laptop, this is a wide range of I/O and allows charging from either side using the Thunderbolt™ 4 ports. On the new Razer Book, there are now four microphones housed on top of the screen, enabling better audio pick- up for conferencing or voice recognition.

The Razer Book is designed to help users power through their daily tasks without any of the extra bulk, with a thin, light, and powerful system fitted with a bright, vibrant screen and all the connectivity options needed for an all- day, productivity portable Ultrabook.
