Supreme team expanding due to Brexit

There was a degree of apprehension from our clients surrounding Brexit and the procedures involving import/export clearance from 1 January, 2021. And as you are almost certainly aware, the impact of Brexit has had a clear effect on every stage of the logistics process and supply chain, from higher transport fees and new limitations to restrictions and delays on importing goods, writes Ashley Archdeacon, director, Supreme Freight

Fortunately, here at Supreme Freight we were well prepared for EU clearances due to our extensive knowledge of arranging customs declarations for over 35 years.

We set about expanding our team at the end of last year to cope with the increase in demand and have opened a new office to accommodate our extra team members.

We are continuing to recruit additional members of staff to cope with the growing EU business that we are securing daily.

The whole team at Supreme Freight has been exceptional in adjusting to life post-Brexit.

It is testament to our team and its ability to adapt to new situations that the company has been able to thrive through what was expected to be challenging circumstances.

Brexit created a strong opportunity for Supreme Freight to showcase our expertise and strength in the market and we have assembled new teams within the company to help facilitate the additional customer requirements.

One of which being a new EU clearance team headed up by Jordon Christians who was recently promoted to EU clearance manager to manage the increased volumes of import and export declarations required for movements made to and from the EU.

This a been a huge success given that one major factor of EU-based business is ‘turnaround time’ and at Supreme we’ve have been able to ensure that the clients/hauliers we work with can move through the border facilities or ports of arrival without issue 24/7.

We have received very positive feedback from our existing and new customers and always try to go the extra step in tailoring a unique service package to each client as they have different requirements.

In choosing to trust Supreme Freight with your shipment you will have a dedicated account handler, giving you one single point of contact who will guide you through each stage of our secure, efficient service.

Jordon Christians

We can assist our clients with all aspects of freight forwarding and the necessary customs paperwork, arranging T1’s and export/import declarations while ensuring that all parties involved are complying with HMRC regulations.

If you require any help with your EU customs clearance requirements, then contact us so we can discuss how we can assist your business:
