“We are very happy, and we’ll continue with this line, with the Dassault family, for a long, long time,” Pereira says. While risk is an unavoidable factor in their work, Pereira says she appreciates the consistency the couple has come to rely on from Dassault and the 8X.

A LIFE IN OVERDRIVE

Pereira started with Crefisa as a bank manager and is now the Bank Crefisa president, while Lamacchia acts as owner and director of the company’s holdings. With over 1,300 branches across Brazil and new ventures into both private and public banking and more than 10 established businesses, Pereira says the couple’s life is in overdrive.

As investment and change come to Brazil, Pereira and Lamacchia are increasingly finding themselves in need of a mode of transportation to match their unpredictable schedule. One of the most dependable aspects of their lives is the service they receive from Dassault.

“We are very happy, and we’ll continue with this line, with the Dassault family, for a long, long time,” Pereira says. While risk is an unavoidable factor in their work, Pereira says she appreciates the consistency the couple has come to rely on from Dassault and the 8X.

“At least once a month we fly long-range, international travel,” Pereira says. “But Brazil is huge, and I use it a lot for domestic travel as well. We are extremely happy with the service we receive from the company.”

Pereira and Lamacchia recently upgraded the hematology and kidney transplant departments for the Clinical Hospital in São Paulo. The duo is also a major donor to the pediatric oncology institute known as GRAACC.

GRAACC is a non-profit organization created to treat childhood cancers. Pereira says they remain dedicated to their philanthropic giving, not because they seek accolades or awards, but because aiding those without resources has been a hallmark of their work from its inception in 1964.

In an ever-changing political landscape, it seems the Brazilian national motto, “Order and Progress” holds true for Dassault’s Latin American clients. As investment and expansion boost the Brazilian economy, business aviation is set to surge forward with customers like Lamacchia and Pereira, who continue to experience success in the inextricably linked worlds of business and aviation.
