PTFE Micropowders for Lubricants & Greases
Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited offers a range of PTFE micro powder grades for Lubricants & Greases applications to control viscosity of the lubricating medium, to reduce friction & wear, thereby lowering energy consumption of machineries.
INOLUB™ PTFE micropowders are produced using responsible manufacturing technologies, which make it sustainable and compliant with current & future regulatory requirements. Electron-beam or gamma irradiation is not used in the production.
T200 series - Directly polymerized technology (PMP)
■ Used as thickeners ■ SSA: 1 0 - 14 m2/g
■ Dispersible particle agglomerates Primary particle DS0 < 200nm
T300 series - Thermo-mechanical technology (XMP)
■ Used as lubricant additive ■ SSA: < 3 m2/g
■ Discrete particles primary particle DS0 > 3µm
INOLUB™ PTFE micropowder grades meet the compositional requirement of food contact regulations US FDA 21 C.F.R.177.1550, US FDA 21 C.F.R.175.300 and EU 10/2011. T200 series also complies with NSF HX1.
INOLUB™ PTFE Micropowders comply with REACH regulations for POPs as per (EU) 2019/1021 & (EU) 2020/784 for PFOA and the revised limit (< 25ppb) that will come into force from 5th July 2022, and the proposed restriction limit for C9-C14 PFCA related compounds(< 260ppb). INOLUB™ PTFE Micropowders contain PFOA « 25ppb and C9-C14 PFCA related compounds« 100 ppb.
