Marketing Executive, Transworld Penguin Random House
We are looking for two highly creative Marketing Executives to support the smooth running of our marketing team. Combining your creativity with strategic thinking and commercial awareness, you will manage campaigns across a range of media; planning, briefing and delivering content as well as reacting to new opportunities and shifts in the market. You will have the opportunity to work across Transworld’s varied list, for example from the Jack Reacher series to authors like Sophie Kinsella, and from sci-fi and fantasy, to literary, to business and self-development.

In this role, you will work as part of a team that is collaborative and supportive, proactive and entrepreneurial. At Penguin General, we strive for working life to be energising, motivating and rewarding for all our colleagues at every level. Reporting to the Publishing Director, and joining a team of six, this role will be responsible for commissioning around eight–10 new non-fiction titles a year with a particular focus on history and “idea books”, ideally with international potential, that will sell for years to come.

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded book publicist. You will get to work with some of the most creative publishing colleagues in the business, learning from a team of experts in a friendly and inclusive environment. You will be involved in every stage of the publishing process from early acquisitions meetings to devising and executing campaign plans and much more. You will represent a strong voice in the division and will need to establish yourself as a trusted expert for colleagues and contacts both within and outside the organisation.
