Jo Nesbo, JM Coetzee, Erin Morgenstern, Abir Mukherjee, Karl Ove Knausgaard, Tommy Orange, Yoko Ogawa, Joseph O’Connor, Denise Mina and Elaine Feeney. The Publishing Director will report to the Managing Director of Vintage and be part of the Vintage Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the creative, cultural and commercial success of Harvill and will be expected to set high standards for your editorial team Key responsibilities include: • Working with the Managing Director and senior team to set


clear strategic goals and targets for the imprint’s new future as a fiction-only list. • Setting the fiction publishing strategy; collaborating with


the editorial team on long-term plans, keeping abreast of trends and staying connected to external perspectives. • Publishing market-leading bestsellers: ensuring every

Head of Operations Headline Publishing Group


Are you a strategic and detail-oriented leader with a passion for publishing operations? Do you thrive on improving efficiency and streamlining workflow for busy teams? We are looking for a Head of Publishing Operations to oversee, improve and implement effective publishing processes, ensuring smooth editorial and design operations and maximising profitability across the Headline and Welbeck imprints.


In this role, you will manage email enquiries through our support ticketing system (Freshdesk) and provide timely resolutions to customer issues. You will assist in onboarding new bookshop partners and enhancing our self-service resources across various formats. You will also oversee day-to-day operational processes, working proactively to ensure that our customers have an exceptional experience


with Libro.fm. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English) and be comfortable with technology-based troubleshooting.

teams (two weeks in each) across Hachette Children’s, Little, Brown Book Group and Octopus for the duration of the internship.
