Chris Whitaker All the Colours of the Dark Orion, £9.99, 9781398707672 Whitaker’s fourth adult thriller has shifted 21,091 copies in hardback since its June 2024 release. With a Waterstones’ Thriller of the Month for April nod, the All the Colours of the Dark paperback has achieved two thirds of that volume in just a fortnight, despite a 13% drop in sales in its second week. Whitaker’s previous novel, We Begin at the End, has lifetime sales of 73,494 units – 7,639 copies in its first two weeks, a number that All the Colours of the Dark has beaten by 83.5%.
