Nick Coveney above, former digital innovation director at HarperCollins, is to join Kobo later in June as publisher relations and content lead for the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Oneworld is a dynamic independent publisher of stimulating non- fiction, literary fiction, crime fiction, children and YA. We publish across a broad range of subjects from history, current affairs & business to psychology, nature and popular science.


We pride ourselves on the quality of our covers, a vital marketing tool in today’s competitive book selling arena. We are looking for a highly experienced and outstanding Art Director to work in-house to take charge of our cover design process. This entails managing and running the design department, designing covers for our fiction and non-fiction lists, as well commissioning freelance cover designers, hosting our covers meeting and generally ensuring Oneworld jackets and marketing material are designed to the highest standards.


The successful candidate: You will have a proven track record at a senior level as cover designer for general trade books, and in addition to being a good communicator, you will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
