INFLATING MILEAGE


A BVRLA report into use of grey fleet found that a driver rounding up a claim from eight to 10 miles increases the journey cost by 25%. The table below shows the total financial implication of 50 drivers, averaging 2,000 miles a year, inflating mileage claims, on average, by 25%.
