There were 15 awards categories covering all aspects of interior design, including retail, public space, healthcare and well-being, residential, clubs and bars, office spaces and hotels. Parliamentary Review SENSIO LIGHTING SENSIO LIGHTING has appeared in the latest Parliamentary Review as one of the eight contributing companies from the manufacturing and services sector. The Review, chaired by former Conservative Communities Secretary Lord Pickles and former Labour Home Secretary
Lord Blunkett, brings
together a series of independent publications, with the aim of sharing best practice among policy makers and business leaders.
In the Parliamentary Review 2019/2020, Sensio
features with an article written by managing director Michael Linsky outlining the company’s achievements and its commitment to innovation as a means of adapting the company’s original business model.
Commenting on Sensio’s inclusion in The Parliamentary Review, Linsky said: “Our interview, which was an honest account of the lessons learnt in developing Sensio Lighting, resulted in an article in the publication representing the Manufacturing and Services industry which will be used to influence and educate within our sector, an honour indeed to be in print alongside senior politicians and other experts.” Co-chairman of the review Lord Pickles said: “[It is] essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend.”
HIB BATHROOMMANUFACTURER HiB was among the companies chosen to appear in the Trade and Commerce edition of The Parliamentary Review 2019/2020. The Review, which is sent to 500,000 leading business executives, aims to share examples of best practice gathered from organisations across the UK. It is chaired by Lord Pickles and Lord Blunkett. HiB managing director Robert Ginsberg was tasked with telling the HiB story in the Trade and Commerce edition of The Review and explain how the company capitalised on a clear gap in the market and developed a low-priority product into a must-have, drastically changing how the market views bathroom accessories. Commenting on HiB’s inclusion in the publication, Ginsberg said: “The Parliamentary Review is an extremely prestigious initiative, designed to offer best practice examples to some of the UK’s leading politicians and business executives. “I am extremely proud of what HiB has achieved over its 30-year history, and it was truly an honour to share our journey, and the insights we have gained along the way. “Hopefully, our case study will shine a light on the importance of creating a culture that genuinely nurtures its employees. We have always prioritised our people and dared to think outside of the box, and for us, that has been a truly winning formula.”
