THE PROPERTY


This was a three-bedroom, three-storey Victorian terraced house in the Tower Hamlets area of London.


THE CLIENT


Our client is a busy businessman who travels a lot and wanted the project to be fully managed, giving him complete peace of mind. He wanted a simple design, executed in a high quality manner. The client is a fan of modern art and plants, hence the inclusion of the patterned tiles.


THE BRIEF


The bathroom was located on another floor and was inconvenient for the client to reach from his bedroom, so we moved the bathroom to the same floor as the bedroom. The room had to be airy, light and relaxing as the client wanted a place to relax, a place that reminded him about his travels in Asia. We decided that the perfect way to achieve this was with natural materials, to create an outdoorsy, slightly rustic feel to the space.
