AQUALISA | GLENN PAYNE
Glenn Payne has joined Aqualisa as director of sales within its specification division. His role will involve accele- rating the specification project pipeline and increasing conversion ratios, with plans to expand the sales team and lead the Aqualisa, Elisa and Gains- borough brands into new sectors. Payne comes from the construction materials company Knauf, where he was head of sales for the UK and Ireland. He has also worked for Grohe as head of projects and has 20 years of experience in the product, KBB and furniture industries.

CAPLE | KATIE HOWIE
Katie Howie has been appointed in the newly-created role of showroom supervisor at Caple’s new Leeds studio. The Leeds showroom follows the opening of the flagship studio at the Bristol HQ. It is located by Leeds train station, the ring road and the city centre. She said: “I’ve spent most of my working life in sales of some description and look forward to using my in-depth kitchen and appliance knowledge at our new Caple Studio in Leeds. I will enjoy meeting new people, discovering their needs and helping them make the right buying decisions.”

DAD has two new starters – Mark Harrison joins as logistics director and Katie Clark as SDA national account manager. Harrison has worked in various senior management roles for companies like DHL, Laithwaites Wine and Oak Furniture Land and has been in logistics for over 25 years. His experience means he knows how to run a distribution warehouse. Clark has 19 years’ experience in the SDA market and has knowledge of building ranges and working with brands to launch and promote products.

HARRISON BATHROOMS | CHRIS SMITH
Chris Smith has joined Harrison Bath- rooms as national category manager for its Scudo range. Smith has 10 years’ industry experience and has been with the Leeds-based bathroom distributor for six years in the internal sales department before becoming area sales manager covering Yorkshire and the North-East. He said: “I am delighted to further my career with Harrison Bathrooms – a family-run business that continues to only offer the best. I look forward to ensuring we deliver against all expectations.”

MARK KELLY
Mark Kelly is Novy’s new business development manager for the North, North-East and North-West of England. With more than 30 years in electricals and white goods, Kelly has worked for a variety of brands, such as Toshiba, Electrolux and Miele. He has has worked with retailers across the country in his previous roles as independent channel manager and business development manager. In his new role he will be respon sible for expanding Novy’s presence within the luxury and premium kitchen studio and kitchen specialist channels in the North.
MOORES | GUY TOOTH
Moores has appointed Guy Tooth as operations and supply director, and he will be part of the senior management team. Tooth has worked in a range of different industries, including Mars, Nestle, Pepsico and, most recently, Sun Chemical, where he was operations director. He has strong knowledge of manufacturing and is in place to help Moores target significant growth in the next few years. Moores CEO Steve Parkin commented: “Guy brings a vast amount of experience to our operations division and will support us with our strategic growth plans.”
