Imperial Bathrooms’ Carlyon Bay furniture range in Brushed Brass

Are you finding any market growth outside of the retail sector? Back in 1995, Imperial teamed up with key export distributors in the USA and Europe and since then it has continued to boost its exports, with plans to relaunch in the Southern hemisphere this year. Now, we’re proud to deliver to 35 countries in a bid to expand our reach and introduce the ‘Imperial Style’ to bathroom spaces around the globe. In fact, the successful launch of Imperial Bathrooms’ contract range last year continues to support new areas of market growth with a great example being the recent collaboration between Imperial and Partner Spec, which is a UK-based firm specialising in high-end bathrooms for large developments, luxury hotels, and residential projects.

After 40 years in the marketplace, what’s your message to retailers? Our message to customers, old and new, is that there will always be a place in the hearts of UK homeowners for traditional bathroom products, as classic fixtures and fittings remain a safe and reliable value proposition going forward. As a dynamic and agile business, which is laser-focused on quality, design and traditional craftsmanship, Imperial Bathrooms is eager to assist retailers and end users in creating the perfect British-made bathroom.

Finally, what does the future look like for you? We’re really optimistic about the future of Imperial Bathrooms, following a successful year in retail where we rolled out our products to over 130 UK retailers. Supported by £800K of ready stock, and

the successful launch of the company’s brand-new Iconic catalogue and subsequent contract range in 2025. For example, our Regent, Carlyon and Lichfield

products continue to attract retail attention with many of our specialist bathroom retailers displaying key items from each range. The most popular products on display include our back-to- wall Regent pan, Carlyon Bay furniture, Lichfield brassware, and Oak furniture. This alone shows that the market for traditional bathroom design remains strong, coupled with a renewed focus on heritage products that are high in character, expertly crafted, and rich in detail so customers can create a personal, curated bathroom space. We want to show our customers that we have the infrastructure in place to innovate and adapt

to the ever-changing retail landscape, yet retain our signature identity. Making beautiful products from wood, clay, and other natural materials, our expert potters, woodworkers, and braziers are what define each product, with all our collections inherently unique by design. We strongly believe in leaning into change and

I am very appreciative of everyone that helps tell our story as we celebrate Imperial Bathrooms 40th year in business.

Derek Miller // Director, Partner Spec

Derek Miller, director at Partner Spec said: “When I launched my own specification consultancy business in 2025, I was very keen to partner with a traditional sanitaryware brand to ensure my portfolio can satisfy the specification of classical bathrooms for the premium hotel sector. Having looked at the brands within our industry, I was delighted to come to an agreement with Imperial Bathrooms, a brand and product range I have

admired for more than 27 years. The range is beautiful in every way, with detailed period styling and its reputation for quality is in a class of its own. As passing bathroom trends come and go, Imperial has remained an on-trend proposition since I first entered the industry back in 1999. I am confident that our partnership to supply the hotel spec sector will continue to develop over the years, and proud to maintain my stance as a firm supporter of British brands… and they don’t come more British than Imperial Bathrooms!”
