running at peak performance. It’s about safety, efficiency, and staying ahead of the curve.”

Trans Aero, known for its diverse rotary- wing operations across utility, firefighting, and transport missions, joins a growing list of operators worldwide adopting Foresight MX to enhance their UH-60 fleets. The system’s ability to provide early detection of component wear — often 100-plus hours ahead of traditional indicators — alongside its intuitive cloud-based interface aligns perfectly with the demands of modern helicopter operations.

Kevin Shields, president at Trans Aero, expressed enthusiasm about the investment. “We’re excited to have GPMS’ HUMS installed on our UH-60s because it’s a game changer for reducing unscheduled maintenance. The ability to predict issues before they escalate means fewer surprises, lower repair costs, and more time in the air for our missions. Plus, the remote monitoring and detailed diagnostics give our team the confidence and tools to keep our fleet

“We’re proud to partner with Trans Aero to bring the power of Foresight MX to their UH-60 Black Hawks,” said Todd Powers, vice president of sales at GPMS. “Their decision underscores the value of predictive maintenance in today’s aviation landscape, especially for operators of former military aircraft facing supply chain challenges. With Foresight MX, Trans Aero can expect increased availability, reduced operating costs, and a new level of operational insight.”

Foresight MX HUMS is FAA-certified for the UH-60 platform and continues to expand its reach across a wide range of 13 other helicopter models. GPMS remains committed to delivering innovative solutions that redefine how operators manage maintenance, safety, and fleet performance.
