Kaman Receives Follow-On Award for HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Cockpit
Kaman Aerospace Group Inc. recently announced that its Kaman Aerospace Jacksonville Division located in Jacksonville, Florida, has received a follow-on award from Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, for the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) cockpit. This award secures deliveries of the HH-60W cockpit from 2022 through 2025.
Kaman’s existing workforce of highly skilled engineers, technicians, assemblers, and support personnel in Jacksonville will support the activity. “Kaman is excited to continue to support this vital U.S. Air Force Program. Kaman is committed to delivering a quality product to the CRH program, and appreciates the opportunity to sustain a strong supplier relationship with Sikorsky,” said William Zmyndak, vice president/general manager of Kaman Aerospace Jacksonville.

The dollar amount of an alleged fraudulent bid to take over Textron Inc., owner of Bell, by Melville ten Cate. An SEC complaint states that in November 2020, ten Cate took out an ad in The New York Times promoting that his (now defunct) company, Xcalibur Aerospace Ltd., would buy Textron shares for a 56% premium. The Times never collected payment for the ad. The SEC says a history of business failures, questionable commercial dealings, unpaid debts, and allegations of fraud helped Textron determine that the offer “lacked credibility.” Federal prosecutors in Manhattan filed an indictment in April charging the 53-year-old with plotting fraud.
