The aircraft was modified to include an expanded instrument panel with the MacroBlue MB15W NVIS/Touchscreen monitor, a Technisonic TDFM-9100 tactical radio, a three-place PS Engineering PAC-45 mission audio distribution system, and a Garmin GTX-345 ADS-B out/ in transponder. SEA also provisioned the Bell 505 for the MED-PAC EMS Lite system per an existing STC. As the name implies, this upgrade brings a lightweight EMS ability to the Bell 505 aircraft, replacing the copilot seat and the aft seats. When employed, with the EMS upgrade, the aircraft can carry a single patient. This additional tool will allow FCSO to provide additional support in emergency situations to airlift injured officers and civilians as needed.
