One day after an annually occurring glacier lake release, giant blue, stranded icebergs remain. The ice is especially blue when it has only just been exposed to oxygen for the first time in hundreds of thousands of years. Photographer Jake Sloan took this shot of the CandyCaneCopter with pilot Leigh Coates @HeliPilotLeigh flying amongst the giant icebergs. The size of the helicopter shows the scale of these massive spires of ice. @helipilotleigh & @jakesloan
