From The Desk of The Editor Heli-Expo 2015: What’s in it for You?
You already know about Heli-Expo, the industry’ s largest show, put on every year by Helicopter Association International (HAI). However, did you know that if you’re a pilot, mechanic, manager or support person in the helicopter industry and you don’t go, then you’re really missing the landing spot? It’s the best place to see the latest and greatest products our industry has to off er. From the OEMs’ shiny new off erings to the smallest mom and pop shops, you’ll fi nd it all. It is also chock-full of relevant public committee meetings that inform attendees on the latest regulations and practices governing our industry.
Publisher Brig Bearden
With over a million square feet of exhibit space, 700-plus exhibitors, and approximately 50 helicopters on the fl oor, just make sure you bring your walking shoes to take it all in. Be prepared for serious networking with your colleagues, as the event traditionally draws over 20,000 attendees.
If you are a business in the industry, this is a must attend show. There is no better place to show off your products or services to potential new customers. It’s also a great place to connect with current customers.
Over the last few years, HAI has worked very hard to develop its professional education courses. It has created a series of over two dozen high quality courses to choose from that target issues of specifi c concern to helicopter operators, pilots, managers, maintenance and safety professionals, and transitioning military personnel. Information essential to success in today’s rapidly changing operating environment is waiting for your attendance. Rotorcraft Pro will be teaching one of these courses, so join us on March 1 as we present the popular HeliSuccess Career Development Seminar.
We look forward to seeing you at Heli-Expo 2015 in Orlando, Florida. Please stop by and visit the Rotorcraft Pro team at booth no. 2142!
