Step 1
Download the YPO template at
ypo.co.uk/curriculum and print out a copy onto a white sheet of card.
Step 2
Cut out the caterpillar body parts carefully.
Step 4
Now take a moment to think about certain things that might make you feel upset or maybe irritate you, you might feel cross or angry or it might make you sad and cause you to cry. These things that “bug you” can always be shared with a friend, teacher, parent or pet so your thoughts don’t feel as big and they can help you to find ways to deal with them and any consequences. Write down these thoughts onto your caterpillar body parts underneath where it says “it bugs me when…”
Step 5 Step 3
Colour in and decorate using paper shapes, jewels and pom poms with some glue.
Using a hole punch put a hole in the top of your caterpillar’s head and each body part, then cut different lengths of your wool and pull them through the hole and tie them around the bar on your coat hanger. Double tie your wool around your coat hanger to secure to finish!
