A complete collaboration Loveday Belgravia marks the first collaboration between Loveday and Amazon Property, and Paul tells me that, with its background in high-end residential development, Amazon Property is very much an active partner in the project, helping to identify a suitable site, arranging finance, acquiring the land, assembling the professional team, and securing planning permission. “They’ve been actively involved all
the way through,” Paul says. “It’s been a complete collaboration from start to finish.”
To Surrey … and beyond? With Loveday Esher marking the provider’s first foray beyond London, Paul confirms that Loveday is looking beyond the city – and possibly even the UK – for its next slate of projects, and may look to diversify its offering to cater for different locations. “The plan was always to build a base in
Central London for the premium Loveday offering, but then also to actively look at opportunities outside of Central London … some of which would be comparable in terms of spec and finish to a Central London
property, with others still ‘best in class’ in that market and that location, but at a different price point and with a different specification.” To that end, Loveday is looking at feasibility schemes in both strategic UK locations and various European cities, although Loveday is clearly very aware of the many challenges – legislative or otherwise – that would come with such an undertaking. Potential projects in Spain, Portugal, and Monaco have been considered. In the meantime, The Care Home
Environment looks forward to visiting Loveday Esher very soon. And who knows – perhaps in a few years, a visit to a luxury Loveday residence in Monte Carlo might be on the cards? n
