IHEEM updates CPD policy
It is now 18 months since the Engineering Council introduced the requirement for professionally registered members to maintain a current CPD record, and IHEEM has now taken the opportunity following lessons learnt from other Professional Engineering Institutions (PEIs) to revise its CPD policy. The Institute said: “Section 11 of the policy now clearly details our sampling process, and the circumstances that would lead to a member losing their professional registration for failure to engage in CPD activity.” Please use the following link to access the updated policy:

n Belonging. n New Ways of Working. n Growing for the Future. Friday 22 October – International
Across this wide range of themes and topics, IHEEM plans to deliver in excess of 80 hours of content, with over 100 live and pre-recorded webinars and presentations, a proportion of which will be CPD accredited. Pete Sellars, IHEEM CEO, said: “We will be announcing the full Conference programme shortly, and are delighted to deliver on our commitment to offer delegates choice in the way they can engage with Healthcare Estates this year. In addition, the on- demand facility provides the opportunity to
catch up and watch sessions which may otherwise have clashed. “We have also built into the programme a dedicated workstream on Tuesday 19 October to allow our Technical Platforms to take part. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for them to connect with members and delegates. The response to our online Awards this year has been extremely positive, with over 70 entries. I am looking forward to watching the ceremony online, and would encourage everyone to register and enjoy the event, albeit in a different way.” Registration is now open at:
