1 January this year, those who persistently refuse to engage in the process may be subject to removal from the Register. Most institutional bodies will publish a CPD requirements

plan for their members. IHEEM is currently working on a bespoke CPD platform which will allow members to share their CPD with up to five other professional Institutions. IHEEM’s Chief Operating Officer, Tania Davies, said: “We are aware that learning is left very much in the hands of the individual. As a step to strengthening our offer to our members, along with the bespoke platform which is currently being worked on and will be available at the end of 2020, IHEEM has partnered with The

CPD Certification Service which provides a solution for CPD-accredited material through a rigorous and impartial assessment process that has been established

from the outset.

“The CPD Service’s recognised and authoritative CPD Member and CPD Certified symbols offer institutional associations, educational providers, and consumers alike, reassurance that the material concerned achieves the qualitative standards required by all parties. Please look out for our future training seminars, courses, and conferences, that will now be accredited by this external body.”
