Best-value ticket prices for Healthcare Estates ‘frozen’

Widely considered to be the leading event for the healthcare engineering and estates management sector, the IHEEM conference at Healthcare Estates consistently delivers presentations and workshops that seek to address and provide innovative solutions to the most relevant and challenging topics that professionals within the sector are facing. To ensure maximum

accessibility and inclusivity to its flagship event, IHEEM has frozen the prices of its best-value delegate tickets for this year’s Healthcare Estates, with a discount of up to £60 per ticket available for those who book by 30 March. This discount also provides NHS Trusts and other healthcare organisations with the opportunity to use any remaining training budgets from the 2023/24 financial year, which may enable their staff to attend this high-quality CPD event. The CPD-accredited conference

programme will feature over 50 expert presentations and workshops addressing the key topics impacting the sector and, IHEEM says, is an affordable way for estates and facilities professionals and healthcare engineers of all levels to enhance their knowledge and keep their CPD record up to date. Places can be booked on the event website: www.healthcare-estates com.

Call for conference presentations closing soon The Call for Presentations for this year’s Conference is open until 15 March, offering all individuals and companies wishing to be considered as a speaker the opportunity to submit a presentation proposal. The title for this year’s event is ‘Embracing the Challenges’, and IHEEM is inviting presentation proposals on the following related themes: n Strategic Health & Social Care Planning. n Governance, Assurance & Compliance. n Digital Technology & Innovation. n Medical Engineering & Healthcare Engineering.

n Estates & Facilities Services.

More details on the themes above and the submission process can be found on the event website.

6 Health Estate Journal March 2024

2024 exhibition promises best-ever coverage Visitors to this year’s Healthcare Estates exhibition will benefit from the broadest range of exhibitors in the event’s history, with a sixth industry zone being added to the floorplan alongside the existing areas of focus. The Software & Smart Hospitals zone will bring together a range of companies with technology and solutions for addressing today’s challenges, and for delivering the healthcare facilities of the future. This new zone joins the established zones of Design & Construction, Energy & Sustainability, Engineering & Compliance, and Facilities Management, to provide visitors with comprehensive coverage of equipment, products, and services to meet current and future challenges. To view a current list of exhibiting companies please visit the event website. As ever, each industry zone will also

feature an Exhibition Theatre, with free content from the sector’s leading associations and organisations on key subjects for the optimal running and maintenance of the healthcare estate. The exhibition is free to attend, and Exhibition Visitor passes can be booked via the event website. IHEEM will once again be providing its members with access to its exclusive IHEEM Lounge – an informal space to network, discuss the issues of the day, and take some refreshment. It also gives the opportunity to meet the IHEEM Head Office team and IHEEM Council members to discuss and give feedback on the work the Institute is undertaking. Non-members who want to learn about the benefits of the many categories of IHEEM membership on offer are welcome to visit the Lounge to find out more from the team.
