Healthcare Estates 2025 programme launched
The programme for Healthcare Estates 2025 (taking place from 21-22 October at Manchester Central) is now live online at
www.healthcare-estates.com. The most extensive schedule of content in the event’s history includes new features – most notably a high-value networking opportunity on Day 2 – and offers attendees a clear window into the sector’s evolving priorities. From digital innovation and compliance to hospital construction and workforce resilience, the programme reflects the real-world pressures and ambitions shaping healthcare environments today. The Keynote Programme is currently being finalised, and will be announced soon. Keynotes take place in the main theatre in the Exhibition Hall, and are open to all visitors to the event at no extra cost – providing everyone with access to the most authoritative updates for the current operating environment. With a bigger-than-ever exhibition that provides opportunities to engage with key suppliers and organisations – including the New Hospital Programme and NHS England – Healthcare Estates 2025 remains the essential event for anyone involved in funding, designing, building, managing, or maintaining, healthcare facilities. Two exciting new features open to all attendees have been announced. The first is a powerful new networking experience, taking place at the end of Day 2. ‘Where Do We Go From Here?’ combines expert reflection, community celebration, and meaningful connection. Open to all attendees, and featuring complimentary refreshments to help refuel you for the journey home, this is your opportunity to reflect on key takeaways from the event, network with keynote speakers and fellow attendees, and recognise outstanding achievement with the IHEEM People Awards – celebrating leadership, innovation, and community, across IHEEM’s UK branches.
A standout feature of this year’s programme is the integration of Award Winner interviews on Day 2, where attendees can hear directly from those setting the standard
everyone. These sessions bring real-world experience to the fore – whether it’s decarbonising hospital heat systems, tackling backlog maintenance, or strengthening cyber resilience in NHS infrastructure.
Organisations contributing to
in innovation and operational excellence. These sessions will offer behind-the-scenes stories and proven strategies – a new and invaluable feature for 2025. Other new and valuable features are in development. Watch this space for further announcements in the coming months.
Ideas that shape the future: the conference programme At the heart of Healthcare Estates is the conference – a carefully curated programme of expert-led sessions and interactive workshops. This year’s overarching theme, ‘Prevention is Better Than Cure’, sets the tone for a programme focused on meaningful learning and practical solutions to the sector’s most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities. Across five interlinked themes, conference delegates will explore strategic, operational, and technological solutions for a rapidly evolving healthcare environment: n Strategic Health & Social Care Planning: Addressing how estates teams can drive integrated care delivery.
n Governance, Assurance & Compliance: Supporting a clearer focus on safety, accountability, and regulation.
n Digital Technology & Innovation: Exploring AI, smart hospitals, and data-driven decision-making.
n Medical Engineering & Healthcare Engineering: Delving into technical resilience, infection control, and design optimisation.
n Estates & Facilities Services: Tackling carbon reduction, workforce challenges, and the pressures of doing more with less.
Among many highlights, attendees will benefit from insights from the New Hospital Programme, NHS Estates, NHS SBS, NHS Commercial Solutions, multiple NHS Trusts, leading global suppliers, and the IHEEM Technical Platforms.
Access to conference sessions offers unparallelled opportunity to engage with speakers and high-level fellow attendees, and is exclusively available to attendees who have purchased a Conference Delegate Pass. Delegates also enjoy a range of on-site benefits – see the registration information on the event website for full details of what’s included.
