With gamification being a key part of all operators’ player engagement toolkits, Bede has developed a new centralised Tournament feature aimed at giving partners the freedom and flexibility to create their own custom contests while avoiding the limitations set by provider-led packages.


While tournaments are a great way to add a community element to slot and table games that incentivises sustained play, operators are often unable to capitalise on their full potential due to the restricted game choice offered by providers and the expensive nature of third-party software.


In most cases, providers’ tournament packages run using their own tools, limiting usage to their own specific games and styling. Tis means admins must navigate back-office systems that are unique to each provider and development teams are burdened with additional front- end work to ensure proper implementation – and all while being unable to apply their own branding.


On top of that, running tournaments across multiple providers adds further complexity and additional operational overheads. While third- party tools are available to help ease this friction, they also introduce another layer to operators’ tech stacks and often come with a hefty price tag. At Bede, we wanted to make the process simpler and more cost- effective for our customers, so we developed our centralised Tournaments to combat these common pain points.
