Autumn Showcase

Genuinely excited to be back in Las Vegas for G2E - not that travelling to Vegas was ever a chore, but at 19 previous visits - some of the glam and shine does fall into the background. Seeing it fresh after a three year absence will feel special, especially as so much has changed. We visited Vegas so many times in the last decade without a significant change to The Strip, but with Circa and Resorts World both new additions during the pandemic, the lure of seeing something exciting and new is back - just as returning to a familiar calendar show is also a welcome slice of normality.

Not that I expect the show to be the same. A lot has happened in the interim, and not just due to the significant timeslip. The marketplace in the US has radically shifted since we were last at G2E. The very make-up of the market has changed and that’s reflected in a much more ‘ICE-like’ exhibitor show floor than at the 2019 show - the last one we visited.

There’s been a distinct lack of hand-ons slots product at the events we’ve covered recently, and at this year’s ICE London too, so being back among the cabinets, new games and new offers is also going to feel special again. However, it’s the surge towards sports betting products that fills many of the pages of this Games Showcase, with lots of new companies adding their solutions to our list ahead of Vegas.

In addition to everything heading to the G2E show, we’re also showing the latest games from a range of US-based and EMEA-located developers, both big and small, who are innovating products we think should be drawn to your attention.
