Ahead of Q4 launch, Kutt outlines plans to capture American social betting space
Officially, the AGA says that Americans bet $150bn on sports each year – but is that really representative of all the betting that is going on in America? Who is tracking all the bets done via informal sources? What about bets on non-sports markets such as politics and pop culture?
Kutt, a new social betting platform set to launch in Q4, believes the total transaction volume of all the betting going on – handshake agreements between friends, bets at the bar with strangers, group chats with your buddies from college, and Twitter arguments over election results – is three or
four times the $150bn number the AGA provides. These informal bets, what Kutt labels “social bets”, aren’t currently being captured and monetised in an efficient manner, and Kutt is looking to change that.
Kutt is a peer-to-peer sports and social betting platform that allows friends and strangers to bet on the outcome of sports and other verifiable events. Think of it as a more interactive version of Venmo, with a focus on betting: the ultimate "put-your-money-
where-your-mouth-is" platform.
Kutt is not the first company looking to capture and monetise these social bets. Recent investors in this space include notable VC firms (Greycroft, SevenSevenSix, Bitkraft, etc.), as well as the owners of several NFL/NBA teams. However, the space is still very early according to Kutt’s CEO, Sim Harmon.
“Many industry insiders think that the only innovation in the P2P space is coming from operators
launching ‘pure-play’ betting exchanges, which cater to a more sophisticated and price-sensitive gambler, and money has gradually started to flow towards operators testing this model.
"While the exchange-model is definitely a game-changer within the industry, we feel that it doesn’t go far enough in addressing the demand for a social-first platform where sports fans can engage with and bet against each other directly, with interactive features of a social network.”
Silverback Gaming invites players to giddy up and blaze trails towards Wilds of the West
Te latest action-packed slot from Silverback Gaming sees players arrive in a Wild West town in search of bounties and riches and where brazen outlaws can reward super wins of up to 5,000x their bet.
As the name suggests, the Wild symbol is central to the gun-slinging experience players receive with each spin. Tat’s because all Wild symbols are Sticky for between three and five spins.
Each time a Wild lands, it is randomly assigned a number of Sticky spins. For the following spins, the Wild symbol remains on the screen and replaces other line symbols to create mega wins. Tese Wilds can be active in multiple positions simultaneously, filling the gameboard with big win bounties.
As with any Wild West town, there is a gold mine to be explored and when three Gold Mining Cart Scatter symbols land anywhere on the reels, the Free Spins bonus rides into action.

At the start of the bonus, the player receives 10 Free Games but additional Gold Mining Cart Scatter symbols can land to trigger more Free Spins.
While the Free Games play out, any Wild that is Sticky at the start of the round remains throughout – any additional Wilds that drop are also Sticky until the end of the bonus.
For those that don’t want to wait for the Gold Mining Carts to arrive, there is the option to buy the Free Games bonus in order to enter the showdown straight away, whilst the chance for players to gamble to potentially unlock it remains.
Wilds of the West follows hot on the heels of Golden Calaveras, the first game launch since Silverback Gaming was acquired by GAN back in December 2021.
Both titles are available via Relax Gaming’s Silver Bullet platform and have been certified in key jurisdictions such as the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Estonia and Latvia.
