GreenDot makes entry into France with new acquisition
German recycling platform GreenDot has acquired Frence-based RG Group and its two low-density polyethylene (LDPE) mechanical recycling sites in Tence and Saint-Pal-de-Mons. In conjunction with facilities in Hörstel and Eisfeld in Germany, and in Piacenza, Italy, GreenDot currently operates a total of five mechanical recycling plants across Europe, with this acquisition marking its first operational presence in France while significantly enhancing its expertise in post-com- mercial and industrial PE film recycling. “We are honoured that the highly skilled and recognized RG Group has decided to join our team,” said Laurent Auguste, CEO of GreenDot. “It is an important step in strengthening our ability to act as one of the most

Bremen sorting plant back in operation after fires
The Sortierkontor Nord (SKN) lightweight packaging sorting plant in Bremen, Germany, jointly operated by Nehlsen and PreZero, is back in operation following major reconstruction. The facility, originally commis- sioned in 2021, processes around 120,000 tonnes/yr of material from the dual collection systems in Bremen and the surround- ing federal states.
