Sumitomo (SHI) Demag to modernise German facilities


Sumitomo (SHI) Demag has reported 2017 was another record year for the Japa- nese-German company as sales rose to €261.3m and incoming orders increased to €297m. The successful launch of the company’s new generation of IntElect all-electric injection mould- ing machines helped towards the increases, along with a positive business development in the packag- ing and medical sectors. The group claims to be
