Domo Chemicals ramps up operations in India


Domo Chemicals, producer of the Technyl polyamides brand, has officially ramped up its compounding operations in Mumbai, India. It said this strategic

Generational shift at Polykemi


At the turn of the year, the third generation of the family-owned Polykemi Group will step into top leadership roles. The current CEO, Ola Hugoson, and Deputy CEO, Lars Hugosson, sons of founder Hugo Jönsson, will both remain involved in the group in advisory roles but will pass on their titles and


positions to their children. The Swedish compound company said this decision is based on a shared vision of how Polykemi should continue to operate as a family business in relation to employees, customers, and suppliers.

Polyamide producer Ascend Performance Materials has initiated Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in order to help it restruc- ture its debt. The company said it intends to operate as usual throughout the Chapter 11 process and subsidiaries located outside of the US are not included in the filings.

lenders, the company will use the Chapter 11 process to pursue a value-maximising restruc- turing transaction that will enable it to emerge from proceedings a healthier business, it said. Phil McDivitt, President
