Transportation Director Jo Allen of Losco RESA, a special education school in Losco County, Michigan, decorated the door with “Love the Bus” pictures drawn by students. Allen added
that certificates were printed from the American School Bus Council website. Driver names were added on the certificates and were placed in driver’s mailboxes with a bag of treats.
Catherine Manely with Fort Bend Independent School District in Texas submitted a selfie with the note, “Happy Valentine’s Day. Sending much Love your way.”

States Start to End Mask Mandates
As nationwide COVID-19 cases decrease, states such as Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are ending masking re- quirements in school settings. Though, as the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention continues to order that mask use is required on all school buses, states such as Massachusetts are not requiring masking in schools but are still requiring it inside school buses. Read more updates at
