The compensation paid or payable to key management personnel, being the two Executive Directors, for employee services is £281,815 (2020: £294,125).


Remuneration paid to the two Executive Directors during the year amounted to £267,515 (2020: two Executive Directors: £279,825). The remuneration of the highest paid director was £180,722 (2020: £189,865). The number of directors to whom retirement benefits are accruing under defined contribution pension schemes was 1 (2020: 1). The total contribution in respect of these Directors was £14,300 (2020: £14,300). No remuneration was paid to Non-executive Directors.

The RYA Foundation, a charitable subsidiary, has incurred audit fees of £5,200 (2020: £5,000) payable to the auditors of the RYA. The RYA Retirement Benefit Scheme has incurred audit fees of £6,000 (2020: £5,830) payable by the RYA to the auditors of the RYA.
