Billed as the largest outdoor
street festival in the Midwest, this Boystown favorite takes over the Halsted strip with lots of booze, music acts and terrific street fashion. Music lineups weren’t announced by press time, but headliners in recent years have included gay-friendly nostalgia acts like Belinda Carlisle, Wilson Phillips, Aaron Carter and En Vogue alongside LGBTQ acts and local festival favorites such as Sixteen Candles. The Annoyance scrubs up a new staging of its 2012 musical sex comedy set in Boystown’s premier bathhouse. Annoyance Theatre & Bar, 851 W Belmont Ave (773-697-9693,

Dance for Life Chicago’s finest dance
companies, including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Joffrey Ballet and Giordano Dance Chicago, come together on one stage for this 26th annual performance benefiting the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Dancers’ Fund.
