Foothills Farm Developing Young Champions
Meet Foothills Farm, where owners Dave and Laurel Scott collaborate with EC High Performance Coach Cathy Inch, to shape the future of equestrian sport in Northern Ontario. Among the many talented riders emerging from Foothills Farm is their 13-year-old granddaughter, Holly Heikkila.
In 2022, Holly marked her Royal Winter Fair debut with Leroy Brown, securing the Reserve Champion title in the Large Pony Hunter Division.
This year, Holly shifted her sights to the jumper ring. Under the guidance of coach, Cathy Inch, she clinched a win in the Ontario Regional Qualifier for the CET Medal.

This win paved her way to a 3rd place finish overall, earning her a coveted spot at this year’s Royal Winter Fair.
As Holly prepares to compete at the Royal in the CET Medal with her horse, La Jovena Venganza (Queen Vera) nutrition remains a pivotal focus.
