JULY 2022 THE RIDER /21
Educational Marketplace to be held on July 28th in Carp
With thanks to an AQHA International grant,
we are so excited to offer our members this outstand- ing learning opportunity. Thursday July 28th we will be hosting two
esteemed AQHA judges, Suzy Jeane & Andrea Si- mons, for a clinic focusing on the patterned events:
Showmanship, Horsemanship, and Hunt Seat Equi- tation. This clinic will be FREE for members to partic- ipate in and audit. We are expecting a significant amount of interest and will need to cap participation. As such, we will be posting a registration form at 9am this Friday July 8th and participation will be first come first served.
You’ve probably seen our posts about the exciting
list of classes with Payback at the Summer Finale grow- ing! Made possible by our generous sponsors. Check out the consolidated list of payback here:

Attention Area 1 Exhibitors
The Area 1 board is heartbroken to announce that
we must cancel the Area 1 show on July 14-17, 2022 in llderton. Unfortunately the number of reservations sim- ply do not support putting on the show. Thank you to those who had reservations or were
otherwise supporting the show and Area 1. Refunds will be processed in the coming days. Also watch for an an- nouncement about the Trail Challenge. Moving forward, the Area 1 board will be assessing our options for holding shows in 2023. We will likely circu- late a survey and hold a meeting to discuss the future of Area 1, so please watch for more information. If you have any immediate feedback, please contact Kristy Beck (Area 1 President) or any other board member. We wish you the best of luck for the remainder of
your show season. OQHA Summer Finale Show
