THE FLOORING SHOW PREVIEW 2017

Kenburn Carpet Crusher Stand M31

For the fourth year running, the Kenburn Carpet Crusher will be exhibiting again at this year’s Flooring Show

The company’s recycling initiatives have been welcomed by the flooring industry which, in particular, is extremely keen to divert recyclable carpet and underlay waste from landfill.

The recycling scheme involves using either new or old uplifted carpet and underlay waste as a fuel for waste to energy and the fuel provides the power for concrete kilns as a replacement for coal.

Not only do its initiatives divert recyclable carpet and underlay waste from landfill, they also reduce the ever-increasing skip costs as it costs less to recycle carpet waste than it does to send it to landfill.

The Flooring Show provides the opportunity to showcase the Carpet Crusher as well as allowing Kenburn to meet with the many flooring companies who recycle their carpet waste using its initiatives and who have great pleasure in sharing how they are saving money in the process.

and the value-driven Essenz collection, the evolution does not stop there. A most notable introduction will be the fabulously indulgent Fairfield Heaven, a plush 65oz Saxony style that will sit within a Touchdown Premium portfolio of styles, a move that expands Lano’s reach to new audiences.

Lano Carpets Stand M19

Lano will affirm its position as one of Europe’s most innovative carpet brands with the launch of Cashmere and Cashmere Luxe. These striking new additions successfully blend the stain-resistance and low maintenance of polypropylene but in an industry first, will boast the look and feel of the most luxurious nylon velvet styles.

Gary Alp, UK Sales Manager at Lano Carpets, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing these two new collections to The Flooring Show.

“Fresh from our development lab, this new fibre really does bridge the gap to the very best solution-dyed nylon velvets available, giving the practical advantages of stain-resistance while retaining that silk look that is so desirable today.”

While Cashmere and Cashmere Luxe further demonstrate the added-value to be found in Lano’s impressive proposition, which also includes the super-soft Eccelena yarn in Touchdown

Gary continued: “The Flooring Show will give retailers the chance to see the entire collection for the very first time but we’ve already shown the results of our intensive R&D to a select number of customers and industry insiders and the response has been fantastic.

“It seems that they are just as excited as we are about the potential of this new evolution in stain-resistance technology. We can’t wait to show it off at this year’s show and are counting down the days before we can reveal just how luxurious carpets featuring this fibre can be.”

Previewed at the Buying Groups National Flooring Show and receiving positive feedback from members, Lano will also launch Venice Tartan to the entire flooring retail trade at this year’s event. With 1 million points per square metre, each heritage-inspired pattern within the collection is produced with incredible accuracy, resulting in some of the most intricate plaids available today. Crafted from Lanoset polypropylene, Venice Wilton comes with an impressive 15-year residential wear warranty and is promised free from common stains for 10 years.

Finally, the stand will also unveil the latest additions to the brands X-Concept premium offering, with Bamboo Touch and Velvet making their bow at the show.
