Desso Appoints ‘Circle Economy’ Founder To Supervisory Board
In support of its long-term commitment to the circular economy, Desso, a leading global carpet and sports pitches company, has appointed Robert-Jan van Ogtrop, founder of ‘Circle Economy’, to its supervisory board. ‘Circle Economy’ is a non-profi t open platform that aims to accelerate the transition to the circular economy.

Jan Kath Puts Art On The Floor
Designer rug showroom, FRONT London, will be presenting Jan Kath’s new collection,
Artwork, at Decorex International, held from 21st - 24th September this year.
According to Gerhard Richter: “Good art in general aspires to something, as a good painting aspires to something almost spiritual or holy. “Works by the most successful contemporary abstract artists inspired the award- winning Jan Kath to create his Artwork collection. Wool and silk are used like paint, incorporating up to 24 colours in a variety of rich hues into each design. Pigments are built up layer upon layer, giving the impression of an almost random, abstract pattern. Yet Kath, possessing an intrinsic understanding of

In 2008, Desso began designing and manufacturing its products according to Cradle to Cradle® principles, designed for eventual recycling in a non-toxic closed loop. It is based on a combined commitment to using healthy materials, developing take back and recycling capabilities, renewable energy usage, water stewardship and social fairness.

IVC Group Support Memorial Garden
IVC Group is honoured to be supporting the Flanders Field 1914- 2014 Memorial Garden, part of the events marking the centenary of World War One. Designed by internationally acclaimed Belgian landscape architect, Piet Blanckaert, the Flanders Field Memorial Garden, has been carefully considered so that it will become a special memorial to all those who fought on the battlefi elds of Flanders. The garden is located at Wellington Barracks alongside the Guards Chapel, adjacent to Buckingham Palace, and is to thank the British people for their sacrifi ce in liberating Belgium.
A ceremonial handover of 70 bags of soil taken from the battlefi elds took place on 30th November 2013, where it was laid into the circular bed of the newly constructed garden. The ceremony involved Belgian and English dignitaries, soldiers of the Household Division and schoolchildren from both countries. Due to open on Thursday 6th November 2014, during a very special ceremony that will be attended by members of both countries’ Royal Families, the Garden will provide a place of contemplation and remembrance for all those who visit.
