TREND CHANGES NEWS Bring The Outdoors Indoors
People have been trying to incorporate the rugged outdoors into their homes for a long time, but outdoor fabrics have undergone a lot of development this year, leading to customers being more determined than ever to blur the lines of their open-plan living space. Now, the design of outdoor furniture is keeping up with the pace of indoor furniture, and the need to continue decor schemes throughout the living room/patio area is racing to the fore. With new luxurious materials more prevalent than ever before, you might want to suggest to customers that they opt for greys, browns and greens when it comes to their fl ooring, depending on the room they have at home.

Into The Woods
Jaipur Rugs BA68 - Barcelona
Inspired by the rich history and design movements of Spain's cultural centre, the Barcelona Collection brings a transitional fl air to any indoor or outdoor space.
Speaking of bringing the outdoors indoors, if you can’t think of how to accessorise a wood fl oor space, don’t panic! Go for long-pile rugs with lime greens or earthy browns; just because your customer wants to freshen up their fl oor doesn’t mean they have to break the bank replacing furniture. The simple addition of rugs will give extra warmth and texture, but if you carry on the colour in other accessories across the space, such as lampshades, cushions and so on, it will create a theme for the room.
Jaipur VR15 - Verve
Available in three different sizes, these matt-fi nish porcelain tiles perfectly capture birch and chestnut woodgrains, offering a lighter or darker look.
Colour Craze
There are a set of colours which don’t date and will go perfectly with an autumn/winter look. Mushroom greys, chocolate browns and creams are very easy to accessorise, but have the added benefi t of being interchangeable with other bold colours if the customer wants a change. This year it could be plum purple, but next summer they could opt for a bold turquoise – the choice is theirs!
