HEALTH & SAFETY EVENT LIVE GUIDE: EXHIBITORS
CASELLA STAND: 4/F21
Global occupational hygiene and workplace hazard monitoring expert Casella will be returning to The Health & Safety Event to showcase the most technologically advanced high flow pump in the air sampling market on stand 4/F21.
Casella is dedicated to improving health in the workplace and community with life-changing monitoring technology. At the event, Casella will exhibit its advanced solutions for monitoring noise, dust and vibration, alongside its latest innovation, the Vortex3 high flow pump.
Casella has a long history of manufacturing air sampling pumps and the Vortex3 completes the family, offering consultants, contractors and specialists a flow accuracy better than +/-5%.
Using Casella’s patent-pending, interlocking design, the Vortex3 has an ergonomically comfortable handle and weighs just 2.17kg, saving operatives time and effort as they can carry multiple units on to a site with ease.
Available in two versions, the Vortex3 Pro model is compatible with Casella’s pioneering Airwave App and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to remotely start, pause or stop a measurement run, monitor battery life and memory capacity and check measurement progress direct from a mobile device.
Data can be emailed alongside photos and site details, adding context to the sampling and further simplifying
ELIS STAND: 4/H10
Protective workwear and laundry services supplier Elis will be providing advice on how to manage workwear risks at the Health and Safety Event.
The company works with thousands of businesses around the UK, advising them on their protective clothing requirements, supplying the workwear and then regularly laundering and maintaining it. During consultations with new customers, it often finds that some of their current garments are not providing wearers with the protection they need and, in some cases, may not be compliant with legislation. In addition, organisations that are not ensuring that their workwear is properly laundered and maintained may be putting their employees at risk.
Paul Swift of Elis said: “Providing high quality protective workwear is a combination of selecting appropriate clothing and also laundering and maintaining it correctly. Our in-house PPE expertise means we advise customers on appropriate workwear, and our nationwide network of industrial laundries and delivery fleets ensures that the workwear is regularly

and properly laundered and maintains its protective qualities. This is important because insufficient washing can lead to a build-up of grease or oil on workwear, which can itself be a hazard, and incorrect washing of high visibility garments, for example, can reduce their visibility.”
At the Health and Safety Event, Elis will be encouraging visitors to take a fresh look at their protective workwear and its laundry to make sure that they are not taking unnecessary risks.
Elis provides its customers with a wide range of high quality, durable and comfortable workwear, supplied on a cost-effective rental basis. There are no up-front purchasing costs and there is the flexibility to swap items if employees change.

the reporting process. This remote access facility makes monitoring and data collection easier, safer and faster and is unique to the Vortex3. Eliminating manual reporting not only reduces effort but provides additional traceability and removes the possibility of writing data down incorrectly.
Casella will also be exhibiting its real-time dust monitors, sound level meters, personal noise dosimeters, hand-arm vibration and environmental monitors. Attendees of this year’s show will learn about Casella’s state-of-the-art innovations for improving worker health through monitoring technology, as well as meet Casella’s product specialists for hands-on demonstrations.
Tim Turney, Casella’s Global Marketing Manager, said: “We are thrilled to support the return of the exhibition this year, particularly with the launch of the Vortex3. We invite visitors at The Health & Safety Event to join us on stand 4/F21 to learn more about reducing occupational and environmental health risks through cutting-edge monitoring solutions.”
